It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

Ok, now that I've got that song stuck in your head..... It's almost Christmas, YAY!!!

We went to get our tree the other day. Usually we don't get it until the 1st of December but we noticed some tree lots a bit earlier this year and I wanted one right away! 

Unfortunately, it's still sitting in my living un-decorated and won't be done until Tuesday or Wednesday since Kyle likes to handle putting the lights on and he's working all week. Maybe I should take over the lights this year? I have a feeling he wouldn't like my lighting lol!

I am so excited to get our decorating and holiday baking started! I completely forget about Elf On The Shelf too! I guess I was supposed to do that last night? Who knows?! I'm sure I'll be doing it all wrong lol, thank goodness I've got my "Elf On The Shelf" Pinterest board! Every year I like to decorate our tree in different themes. One year we did red, green and white, another year we did purple, pink and gold, and we've also done white, blue and silver. I have no clue what to do this year! I love all of those huge, whimsical type ornaments but Kyle hates them lol!

What do you guys think I should do for theme? Have you started your decorating yet?!
