What's better than spending a night or day relaxing and watching Netflix?! Netflix and chill anyone?
There's really nothing I'd rather do than be at home watching movies or Netlifx with my family so I've made up a list of what I'm currently watching on Netflix. I hope this list gives you inspo to maybe watch something you haven't seen yet!
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 & Vol. 2: Although I love Captain America (see photo below 😍) The Guardian series are my absolute favourites in terms of superhero movies and these two are also two of my most favourite movies of all all-time. I am actually watching Vol. 2 as I write this blog post.
Not only are the movies great but both have incredible soundtracks that I listen to all the time whether I'm driving in the car or at home. The actors are amazing and the movies are too funny! Funny story, when Guardians first came out Kyle wanted to watch it really bad. I didn't know what it was really and all said was " You want to watch some movie with a talking racoon?!" Pretty sure we watched it the very next night after we first watched. I seriously fell in love and they always make me tear up. I watch these 2 all of the time and even bought the DVD in case Netflix takes them off!
You: This show was so darn good, I watched it in 2 nights and then I was extremely disappointed it was over! I always loved Gossip Girl so I was excited to see Penn Badgley. It's about a guy that falls for a girl but becomes infatuated with her, stalks her and the things he'll do for her. It is a MUST see!
The Sinner: This show was AMAZING! Jessica Biel was absolutely incredible. We binge watched this one too. During an afternoon at the beach, a women is consumed by a fit of rage and stabs a stranger to death. Something doesn't sit right with a detective and he wants to find out how a seemingly normal mother and wife could do this. It's definitely a creepy and riske but so good!
Mr. D: I think this is only available on Netflix Canada. I might be a bit biased here as I'm actually in the pilot of this series. However, the show is actually hilarious with so many great actors! No lie, when we were filming it, I could NOT keep a friggin straight face when Gerry D was talking to me. I burst out laughing so hard!
Bird Box: I'm sure you've heard about this movie since it has taken the internet by storm, but if you haven't checked it out yet, this is another MUST!
Don't Breath: 3 teens break into a blind, war vets home. We just watched this last night and liked it. There are some crazy twists! Parts towards the end are a bit messed up lol but the movie was pretty good!
Sonic Boom: This one is because of Carter lol! He loves this show. It's actually not too bad and I don't mind watching it with him, it's kind of funny!
The Haunting Of Hill House: One the creepiest shows and one of my Netflix faves! It was so darn scary, I didn't want to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night by myslef. There are some really cool "easter eggs" I learned about after watching it so now I want to rewatch and find them all!
Tidying Up: If you need some help getting organized and letting go of things you don't need, this show is for you! Marie Kondo is just the cutest and has so many great ideas.
Trolls: One of my favourite kids movies to watch! Trolls is so much fun!
Donald Glover: Weirdo: Okay, let me start off by saying I HATE stand up comedy! I know, lame. I just don't find it funny at all. I never really knew too much about Donald Glover before seeing this either. Kyle really wanted to watch it so I agreed. He ended up falling asleep and I just left this on while I played on my phone...... Let me tell you, I have NEVER laughed so damn hard in my life. I don't know I didn't wake Kyle up! I was hysterically crying, snorting and I seriously even had to take my puffer because I couldn't breath at the end! Even an hour after I watched it, one of the bits popped into my head and I couldn't stop laughing again!
The Secret Life Of Pets: This is another one of my favourite kids movies to watch with Carter! It's pretty funny!
Bridesmaids: One of my go to movies. Who doesn't love Bridesmaids?! This movie never gets old!
Click: This is one of my favourite movies. It's such a good reminder that life goes by too fast and to stop and enjoy the things that really matter! Kyle hates this movie, he thinks it too sad so he won't watch it with me again and again lol!
I Feel Pretty: This was pretty funny and such a great reminder to love ourselves and be confident!

I tend to like comedy shoes on netflix - it's so rare to have time to actually watch an entire movie, haha! But I do have the tidying up show in my watch list, along with brooklyn 99 and nailed it and schitz creek :)
