Sweet Peach Frosé

Happy Summer Friends!!!

I hope you guys are having such an amazing Summer! I am enjoying every minute of the sunshine!  We have been really loving eating our meals out on our deck lately and I thought it would be so nice to  make a delicious Frosé recipe to sit and enjoy on the patio! I made a delicious sangria recipe here a few summers ago if you want to check it out.

I did a poll on my Instagram and asked if everyone would rather a peach or watermelon flavour. I was pretty surprised that peach won! My friends over at Jost were so kind and provided a bottle of their delicious Selkie Rosé for my recipe! Thank you Jost!!!

I don't have a large blender, just a little magic bullet for single serve drinks so this recipe will be done by the glass. You can change the quantity if you want to make it for the whole bottle (about 5 glasses). I find that most people are pretty specific about their cocktails and either like them pretty sweet or fresh and crisp so I don't really use measurements, instead I just go by taste and personal preference!  This recipe is super easy and you can make it as sweet as you like!

Ingredients:

- Selkie Rosé (or another Rosé if you don't have this brand)
- Peach Schnapps
- Simply Peach Juice
- Frozen peaches

First thing you need to do is freeze your Rosé. Do not put the whole bottle in the freezer!!! My dad did this on my prom night trying to chill a bottle of really cheap champagne lol.... needless to say, he forgot about it and it burst in the freezer leaving glass everywhere!

The easiest thing to do with your Rosé is pour it into a shallow dish (I used one of my rectangular plastic food containers). Leave it in until it's nice and frozen/slushy, a couple hours should do the trick. I also cut up some fresh peaches and threw them in some freezer bags.

Once your rosé is frozen, toss it in your blender with about 1 oz of Peach Schnapps, pour in some peach juice (I like mine pretty sweet so I just kept adding to taste), add a few of your frozen peaches and blend! The frozen peaches helped give it a thicker consistency but I didn't like the little chunks of peach bits so I strained them and blended again with a bit more of the Rosé slush.

Your delicious Sweet Peach Frosé is ready! I liked to garnish mine with some frozen peaches to keep it cool and delicious!

I hope you enjoy this Sweet Peach Frosé recipe and have a wonderful Summer!
