The Prettiest Spring/Summer Dress!

It's almost summer, and I am soooooooo excited! I know I say it all the time, but I am seriously a huge sun worshiper (covered in sunscreen of course)! Now that the warmer weather is finally upon us, it's time to start breaking out the pretty dresses and shorts.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I seen at Marhsall's. I just had to have it. Even Kyle said how much he really likes it so it must be nice!

I am obsessed with pin-stripes and ruffles, and this gorgeous dress has it all! I love the belted waist. It's so girly and feminine making it the prettiest spring dress. You can dress it up or down, it would look great with sandals or heels! It's really comfortable and breezy; perfect for a walk downtown, a picnic, running errands, basically everyday life!

Pops Of Pink

There is something so girly and lovely about lace dresses. When I was pregnant I really wanted one just like this to wear to my baby shower but I couldn't find one.

I stumbled across this one as clearance at Forever 21 the other day and it was exactly what I was looking for last year! I love it, I think it's so beautiful!

It may need to be taken in a bit but I might leave it in hopes that the next time I'm pregnant it fits lol!

I think the pops of the pink accessories really add some more girly hints to this look and just make it look so much more glam, all while the Louboutin booties make it a little more chic!

50's Glam

How friggin gorgeous is this dress?! It reminds me of a 50's housewife dress. I love it so much! The colors are just so fun and bright and I love how puffy the skirt is! I feel so glamorous and girly in this dress, I feel like a vintage Barbie lol :)

What better place to wear it than the colorful Eastern Passage Boardwalk?! I love it there! The little shops are so cute and fun! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Nova Scotia.

Louboutin So Kate

I fell in love with these babies when I seen them online and I just had to have them! Ladies, I'm not going to sugar coat it....These shoes are the DEVIL! They are pure friggin evil! Sure they don't look evil. They look beautiful with suede so soft, that gorgeous candy apple red bottom, popping purple, and the daintiest, highest heel to make you closer to heaven while making your legs look longer (great for short bitches like me lol!). But don't let those looks fool you! The devil wears red ;)

I had heard from so many Louboutin high heel pros that these are damn near impossible to walk in. But of course that didn't stop me! I thought to myself; fret not, how hard could it really be?! I mean, I do have some pretty high Loubs already so it can't be that bad...

Oh it's bad! Most complaints I heard were the toe box is too narrow and really pinches your feet. Well I ordered a 1/2 size up. Problem solved, right? Nope! My issue is the arch. That arch is sooooo high! All of my other really high shoes have a platform, so that really helps. Without the platform it really does put your foot in such an awkward position. And since I ordered up, they're a tad too big! I had read about sizing issues with the So Kate and the Pigalle but I thought these would be fine. I definitely recommend trying them on before buying! Unfortunately for me that isn't an option as the nearest store is a plane ride away!

They don't really hurt my feet, they just feel awkward. Hopefully some practice will get me used to these bad boys, and maybe some inserts. They really are beautiful! I've had nude pigalles on my list for years now but I may have to do the platos or at least the 100's.

Halifax Food Truck Party

Man, who doesn't freakin love food trucks?! Seriously, anytime I see a food truck I NEED to go and get something. When a friend posted on facebook about this party tonight, we just had to go!

It was mayhem! The lines were insane. A few spots weren't too bad but we waited in line for tacos for an hour. Oh my god. They were so worth it! My fish taco had some pineapple sauce, it was so amazingly delicious.....man I want another one soooo bad!

We had the best damn grilled cheese, delicious gourmet mac and cheese (they had pulled pork, brisket, and traditional), and some waffles on a stick, yummm. 

We showed up an hour before they closed so a lot of the trucks were sold out. We missed out on some really good ones unfortunately but at least we can check their usual schedule and go try them!

Flower Power!

There is nothing prettier than when all the flowers are in full bloom. We have a huge rhododendron bush in the front of our house that I have been cutting and trimming for the last year. It's such a beautiful plant but it is HUGE! I'm debating on cutting the whole thing and just landscaping with some little hostas and mulch but the flowers are just so pretty, I'm afraid I might miss them!

Carter is 8 months old today! I can't believe in just 4 months I have to go back to work :(. I'm absolutely heartbroken! I wish I could stay home with him everyday! It's just insane how much has changed since last month! He is now just crawling (I guess more like dragging himself lol) all over the place! He somewhat feeds himself with his spoon and eats little Baby Mum Mum cookies. And does he ever love Bentley! Lol he must think she's a fluffy little lion. He just goes crazy for her! He likes the Precious our Chihuahua too but he just adores our little crazy Pom.

I went and picked up some more beautiful peonies the florist ordered in for me :). They're are seriously the most beautiful flower! And I love the smell! Kyle thinks they smell kind of minty. I'm not sure what they smell like lol, just fresh I guess! I think I'm going to get some bulbs and try to plant some.... not that I will have any luck with it anyway. My 3 rhodos I tried to plant in the back yard bloomed for a couple days and now they look completely dead....I don't know what I did wrong!

My outfit for the day was perfect for today's whole "floral theme"! It was so bright and fun, and super girly!

Office Inspiration

I recently started my real estate licensing course so now I need an office! I need a beautiful space where I can study and actually get some work done without the distractions of my dogs and the TV.

I've already started re-doing my current office, it's pretty much done now but I'm just waiting for my man to build me some built-ins on one of the walls. I'll post some before and after picks as soon as it's complete!

My office is probably the only room in the house I'd be allowed to paint pink lol (and my walk-in closet)! Light pink is so girly, and soothing to me. And it would definitely add a touch of glam!

Kate Spade Office Essentials

When I first seen the Kate Spade office supplies from Indigo I immediately fell in love. I just adore Kate Spade's bright colors and creative designs! How gorgeous are those bright colored boxes?! And the acrylic accessories are too fab!
