Spring Fashion!

I feel like all I have been complaining about lately is all of this damn snow and wether or not spring is coming! Surprisingly the last few days have felt like a beautiful spring day and I could finally ditch the parka for a bit!

Flannel and Fringe!

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday and enjoyed it. Mine was nice but went by way too quickly, we barely had time to sit and relax. I was pretty bummed we didn't have much time this year to set up all of our decorations and get things together earlier. Oh well, there's always next year :)!

Rainy days and clouds so grey!

Well tonight was supposed to be Kyle's first softball game of the season but unfortunately the field is still damaged from the winter! We were so disappointed! I had even ordered Carter his first snap-back Dodgers hat and picked up a cute little baseball outfit from Babies R Us! It rained so it would have been cancelled anyway but still too bad.

We ended up going to Wal-Mart... I swear, they friggin get us EVERY time! I went in there just to return a toy that Carter ended up with two of. You know, that little fisher price pull telephone we all love :)! $100 later... We ended up with a couple new onesies, a pool float with a canopy (which he actually does need so he doesn't get too much sun!), a new SD card for my camera (no more having to delete pics to take a new one!), and a few other small things. I went the other day with my mom and I ended up leaving with 2 Smurfs for the garden lol! We decided to start avoiding that place.

I was kind of glad it rained so I could finally wear my new Tiffany blue Hunter rain boots! They're children's size 5 and they were half the price! It's awesome, I can get all of my sneakers and boots in kids sizing for literally half price, love it lol! It was too funny, in the mall this little girl made her mom stop to tell me she loved my boots! Too cute!

I went hunting for new prescription glasses but I couldn't decide which ones so I'll have to order them online. I posted a pic on instagram asking everyone to vote since I couldn't decide :)! Feel free to go and vote!

Time to relax now and watch some WWE since it's officially our "weekend"! Yes, I actually love watching wrestling, it's hilarious! |Let's go Naomi!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I can't believe today was my first mother's day! It was such an amazing day! I couldn't have had a more perfect day!

Kyle came home with the most thoughtful gift from our friends!  They gave me a beautiful card and a box full of the most amazing goodies! And Kyle gave me the prettiest pink roses!

We went out to brunch with my family to celebrate my mom, nan, and aunt. And I guess myself too!We went back to Tempo. The food was delicious! So were the drinks. Too bad Carter dumped the last half of my Peach Bellini on me lol! Oh well, it was a great brunch! Love that place and spending time with my family!

After brunch we went home and went for a walk for a couple hours around our neighborhood. We had to go back home halfway in between to change Carter's outfit. We're too new at this parenting thing... we still don't know how you're supposed to dress babies when it's warm out. It was so beautiful outside! There were so many other dogs and families out. Carter met the sweetest little girl 3 months older than he is. Maybe a future girlfriend lol?!

After our walk Kyle surprised me with lobster for dinner!!! Our fave! It was amazing! He even lit some candles, such a little romantic!

I'm so lucky and thankful to have such an amazing family and to be a mommy to such an incredible little boy :)!

Now everyone is sound asleep while daddy's at work and I'm waiting to watch the Kardashians lol, time for little miss Kylie Jenner to come clean about those lip injections! End of a perfect day!

I still remember when I first fell in love with designer handbags and this story is kind of embarrassing. Ok, really embarrassing! The first time I heard of Louis Vuitton was thanks to none other than Jessica Simpson. Yes, I just said that. It was an episode of Newlyweds when she took her beautiful Murakami Speedy camping with her (ladies,we all remember this!). I was 18 and I just had to have that bag. I didn't know how much these bags retailed for but I found one on ebay for $300.I saved up and bought it. I couldn't believe I was going to have the same bag as Jessica Simpson! Back then I didn't know they made fake handbags, I'd never even heard of "replica". Sure enough, after learning more about designers, I realized it was fake. I was heartbroken! I have since only purchased my designer things from the actual stores or Neiman Marcus/Saks. I'm not opposed to consignement but only from reputable sources like Malleries or my bestie Joanna at www.hauteconfessions.com

I don't really splurge on designer handbags or shoes too often. Usually only when I'm on vacation, which hasn't been in quite awhile.

#2- Louis Vuitton Lilas Alma (photo from www.weheartit.com). I actually almost bought this purse last year in Vegas and I've been kicking my self in the butt that didn't get it(instead I finally bought my Chanel Grand Shopping tote which happened to be the last one in all of Vegas at the time!). I wish I could find this bag since it is now discontinued! It's definitely the one that got away...

#3- Céline Micro Luggage Bag (photo from www.malleries.com). I'm not really a fan of small bags but this is just so perfect. I'm obsessed with this color, it really stands out. And I just adore the design and quality of Céline.

#4- Chanel Caviar Jumbo Flap Bag (photo from www.malleries.com). Chanel is one of those staples in a handbag collection. Every girl needs a Chanel bag! They're flap bags are classic and what better color than this beautiful popping pink!

#5- Louis Vuitton Retiro NM (photo from www.louisvuitton.com). I love the classic Louis monogram (the first Louis I bought was a classic monogram bag and it has a special place in my heart, even though I'm not a fan of the Montorgueil anymore) The red trim on this just exudes sexy and elegance.
